The National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS) is a third party credit evaluator that evaluates learning that occurs outside of a college. Only when a provider has a partnership with a college should this college credit be considered transferable. Unlike ACE/Credly, NCCRS college credit is held directly with the provider. Davar Academy is low cost, charging only $150 per self-paced course (not per credit). When you’re ready, you earn college credit by passing the final exam. No assignments or homework are part of the process. This is a self-directed course that is essentially credit by exam. You’ll get the option to have a transcript sent to your college for free at the time of testing, or later for $15.
Each Davar Academy course requires a proctored exam, but you have your choice of proctoring providers, including the option for a local in-person proctor.
- Local (no fee)
- RPNow ($15) instant testing
- ProctorU ($25) schedule 1 day in advance
