Here’s a curated list of scholarships your rising 12th grader can apply for right now!  As always, I grabbed these from my favorite scholarship list JLV Consulting- love that site!

Description: Scholarship is open to high school, college, and graduate students, and those planning to enroll within 12 months. Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States or an international student with a valid student visa. Applicant must fill out a short form.

Elder Abuse and Neglect Infographic Scholarship

Amount: $500
Closing Date: December 29, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to students who have been accepted to a college and well as students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in the United States. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to elder abuse and neglect.

Apprentice Ecologist Initiative Youth Scholarship Program

Closing Date: December 31, 2020
Description: Scholarships are open to students between the ages of 13 and 21 who are candidates for a degree/diploma at a primary (middle school), secondary (high school), or accredited post-secondary educational institution from any country around the world. Applicant must conduct their own environmental stewardship project in 2020.

Barbizon’s College Tuition Scholarship

Amount: Up to $100,000 cover four years of college tuition
Closing Date: December 31, 2020
Description: Scholarship is open to legal residents of the U.S. (except Puerto Rico) who have been accepted at an accredited college or university (excluding vocational or technical college and trade schools). Student must fill out a short form.

Global Citizen Scholarship

Amount: Up to $3,000

Description: Scholarship is open to international students allowed to legally study in the U.S. or Canada (U.S. permanent resident, protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, or have a valid visa that permits study in the U.S.) Applicant must be accepted at, or enrolled in, a full-time degree program at a U.S. or Canadian school.

Top Ten List Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students 13 years of age or older who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are currently enrolled (or will enroll no later than the fall of 2026) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education. Description: Contest is open to students in grades 3 through college (ages 8 and up) from the United States. Student must create a film on one of many given topics related to the Earth.

Leaders Save Lives Scholarship Program

Amount: Up to $2,500
Closing Date: January 15, 2021
Description: Scholarship is open to all high school and college students. Applicant must host an American Red Cross blood drive between December 15, 2020 and January 15, 2021.
