Our family is celebrating 6 CLEP credits earned (US HIST 1 & US Govt) and 7 dual enrollment credits earned (Forensic Chemistry with lab and Personal Finance). I think the larger success of this year is the confidence my daughter has gained in having to achieve both types of credit. She knows she can do it. She knows how to do it. And her excitement is propelling her to keep doing it. Thank you so much for your gentle push in this direction. It has been a game-changer for our family of four homeschoolers!
Congratulations!!! I agree totally with you about gaining confidence. We experienced that in our family too, and it was really how most of our sons got traction. 🙂 So glad to hear of her success, and keep me posted! Congratulations!!
My senior finished the fall semester with 12 credits (bringing his total up to 15 now). I think it’s boosted his confidence that he can, indeed, handle college work while working. Next semester will be harder, with harder classes and 18 credits, but hopefully he can knock those classes out as well. My freshman is preparing for her first Clep in January. Thanks for all of your work! Many blessings for the new year to you and yours!
Wow Karyn, that’s wonderful!! Finishing high school with college credit is such a “boost” toward the next chapter, congratulations on a job well done!!
My sophomore in high school finished his first semester online through Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma. He took and passed three classes and earned nine dual credit hours. When COVID hit, many new, affordable options opened up. Previously we had never considered ORU but we’re very glad we did. He plans to take three more classes next semester. Thank you for all the work you do. It has helped us greatly!
Amber, you’re welcome! So glad to hear about your son’s progress with ORU. Congratulations on 9 credits, well done!!!
