  1. We started homeschooling our 9th grader last July. I was so lucky to find this amazing community and was encouraged by all the successful stories posted here. Today, I am happy to share that my 14-year-old daughter passed her first CLEP Spanish Level 1 and Level 2 on Monday, with a 74 and she has earned 16 potential college credits. We couldn’t be more grateful to Jennifer and the Homeschooling for College Credit community! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge ❤. We are so excited!

    1. Diana, that is AWESOME!! And her score is seriously amazing. WOW. Since her fluency of Spanish is obviously exceptional, you might also want to have her take the “newer” Spanish CLEP too. They just added it last year and it is called Spanish Language and Writing. We can’t predict how a future target college will handle scores from both exams, but it is entirely possible that they would NOT duplicate each other and she might be eligible for extra credit. I can’t say for sure, but thought it was worth mentioning. The only downside is that you can’t get a modern states voucher for it- I think it’s too new and they don’t have a course yet, so there would be a cost to roll the dice.
