Every month we take time to encourage each other and celebrate our teen’s hard work. In most months we’ll hear about a class or exam a teen completed, but May is ESPECIALLY exciting because we often hear from teens who completed their high school DIPLOMA! In addition, we even have a few who finished entire DEGREES! If you’re celebrating a big accomplishment this month, share below so we can celebrate with you!
Happy Posts from April
A small sample of the many posts our members shared in April offering encouragement and inspiration. April showers bring May flowers and apparently LOTS of college credit! If your teen earns even ONE college credit in high school, he’s ahead!! Are you ready?

Big month here!
Oldest just graduated university. Two associate’s degrees, a bachelor’s degree in a marketable field (he actually double majored) has no debt and we spent – get this – UNDER $10k for the whole thing!
Third son graduated high school and got his associate’s degree at the same time. Starts university in the fall.

You’re not kidding that this is a BIG MONTH!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I’m so proud of you and your family! Are you willing to share more? I’d love to feature your family in a post if you’re open to it.
Daughter graduated high school, earned her AA from CPCC (67 credit hours), and was admitted into App State and UNCG’s nursing programs (BSN) as a junior. She started the BSN program at App State last week, having competed all her nursing pre-reqs in high school. It’s a 5-semester program, so she expects to earn her BSN in May of 2023! Thx to Jennifer for making all of this possible!!!
WOW Melissa!!! I love hearing that, ESPECIALLY since I’m so fond of Central Piedmont Community College. I have a million questions, would you be willing to chat? I would love to share your story!!
Of course, Jennifer! Happy to chat!
