Scholarships Still Open: Apply Now!

Even with your perfect HS4CC plan in place, we want you to win scholarships for the remaining credits. Even though most deadlines have passed, here is a short list you can still apply for if you hurry.

PRO TIP: Even when your teen is 9th or 10th grade, very few scholarships restrict you from winning NOW to use LATER! Let the stockpiling begin!


Fifth Month Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students 14 years of age or older who are legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are currently enrolled (or will enroll in the future) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education. Applicant must “write a letter to the number five explaining why five is important.”

Description: Scholarship is open to current college students attending Canadian and American college and universities. Applicant must submit an essay on how they plan to make their community a better place after graduation.

Description: Scholarship is open to high school, college, and graduate students and those planning to enroll within 12 months. AISES A. T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate and graduate students who are Native American, Alaskan Native, or Native Hawaiian. Applicant must be pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Medical Science, Physical Sciences, Technology, Science, Engineering, or Natural Resources.

Aurie J. Gosnell Scholarship

Amount: Up to $1,250

Description: Scholarship is open to students pursing a license in cosmetology or barbering.

C.I.P. Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students age 17 years of age and older who plan to start a program of higher education within the next 12 months or who are currently enrolled in a program of higher education. Applicant must submit an online form and a short essay on their primary goal for going to school.

Christian Connector Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to students with plans to enroll for the first time as a full-time student at a Christ-centered Christian college or Bible college within 16 months.

American Atheists Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to incoming and current college students in the United States who have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicant does not need to be U.S. citizen, but must attend a U.S. based institution. Applicant must demonstrate atheist activism in their communities and schools. In addition to the general scholarships, there is a scholarship open specifically to a member of the LGBT community.

HFA Educational Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to students with a bleeding disorder or closely related to someone with a bleeding disorder (parent/sibling/child) and seeking a post-secondary education from a college, university or trade school. Most scholarships are open to students of all majors, but there is one scholarship open to students pursing a degree in the medical/healthcare services field.

Kaiser Permanente Health Equity Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who reside in one of the following eight (8) Kaiser Permanente service areas: California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Georgia, Maryland, Oregon, Virginia, or Washington State. Applicant must have a 2.5 GPA and have an interest in pursuing either a clinical career path (e.g., pharmacist, physician, practitioner, nurse) or non-clinical career path (e.g., accounting, business administration, human resources, marketing, public policy) career path in the healthcare industry. Description: Scholarship is open to incoming college freshman who had at least a 3.0 GPA in high school. Applicant must enroll and remain enrollment at a four-year Historically Black College or University for the duration of their college career.
