Enrollment still OPEN: HS4CC Beta Testers

In last month’s announcement, I shared that our community was being offered “seats” to take part in a beta testing program for the launch of a new LIVE dual enrollment program. Your 12th grade teen can take 1 of the 3 courses available, each are worth 3 college credits! Space is limited, and sign up is open NOW before December 29th. Parents must attend the January 5 orientation online. READ MORE.

MANDATORY ORIENTATION for parents: January 5, 2023 (3:30-4:00 pm EST on Zoom)

Homeschooling for College Credit community (that’s you!) has been invited to serve as beta testers for Our teens in 11th or 12th grade may choose ONE of the classes available for 3 college credits. THERE IS NO COST, this is a beta test and is completely free for your teen.

Starting January 17th, Campus, a new national, online community college, is allowing 11th and 12th grade students from the Homeschooling For College Credit community the opportunity to take one course and earn four college credits (quarter credit hours) this Spring AT NO COST. Interested families should plan on attending this webinar to learn more about Campus, its unique online format, the courses available, key dates, and much more.

Classes start January 17, 2023 – March 31, 2023 (11 weeks)

The HS4CC community is often invited to beta test for colleges and businesses, so if you’ve ever done this with us before, you know how rewarding it is to be part of the building process. Your teen may be asked for their feedback, and it’s a fun way to get “paid” for your participation by being given free tuition!

The classes will have a LIVE (synchronous) model for online learning. The student would need to login at specific times for this class.

Classes available:

  • Marketing, 3 credits
  • Entrepreneurship, 3 credits
  • American Politics & Government, 3 credits

The credits should transfer well into any other college that accepts transfer credit. Campus is a regionally accredited (the gold standard) brand new community college in California and has never offered dual enrollment before- we are their testers.

How to Sign Up

Parents must attend the required orientation (live on Zoom). The orientation will cover all three classes, how they work, the syllabus, instructors, etc. You do not have to pick a class before the orientation, you’ll do that when you register.

What your Teen can Expect from a Live Class Model

Live classes

All classes in the Campus program are live so that you can directly interact with professors and peers. We keep things engaging by holding lively discussions and debates, breakout sessions, forums, and more.

Office hours

Benefit from unprecedented access to professors from world-class universities and accomplished TAs through live 1:1 office hours. Faculty are available every week so you can make connections, build rapport, and deepen your knowledge.

What your Teen should NOT Expect

Perfection. This is a launch into new territory. There will be hiccups and imperfections in the course, and your teen’s feedback is valuable. Beta testing is the way a program improves, so if you want to be part of the improvement process AND get 3 free college credits, sign up for the orientation and we’ll see you there!

Is Campus fully accredited?

Yes, Campus is a fully accredited community college. Campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Additional information about accreditation, including the filing of complaints against member institutions, can be found at

Why is it called Campus?

Because we’re creating a new model for the college experience, we wanted a name that would stand out from the thousands of other colleges and universities in the country.
