Every month we take time to encourage each other and celebrate our teen’s hard work. In most months we’ll hear about a class or exam a teen completed, but May is ESPECIALLY exciting because we often hear from teens who completed their high school DIPLOMA! In addition, we even have a few who finished entire DEGREES! If you’re celebrating a big accomplishment this month, share below so we can celebrate with you!

Lisa’s Story: Son with Autism

BIG month for our family this month!
My 18yo wrapped up his DE journey with his high school diploma AND his AA degree. (He’s headed to university in the fall to wrap up his BS)
AND TWO of our other boys graduated from UNCCC this month!
We are so grateful for the support and encouragement of this community.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! Are you kidding me? You have THREE college graduates this month? That is spectacular, applause all around! I know the hard work, planning, advocacy, strategy, and commitment all of that takes. (Coordinating it so they all graduate at the same time is a next-level ninja skill) Congratulations, I’m so proud of your family!!
My middle son graduated Homeschool High School in May with his AS degree in Computer Science. He earned all of it through Dual Credits. He took classes through ORU (found through your website!)- then transferred them to our local Community College where he finished up his degree. He is headed to the university in the fall. Thank you for all of the help along the way! (I now have several years until I need to start on the next child.)
Congratulations Amber!! I love hearing this! <3 That sounds like a great plan, all my best to your son!
