HS4CC 2021 Out-of-State Dual Enrollment List

Colleges listed here allow students from out of state to participate in college classes via distance learning. We do not have an advertising or financial relationships with these colleges.

Homeschool parents should know that public schools usually hold dual credit partnerships with colleges. Those programs are NOT featured here. Those types of programs require students to participate through (or at) the public school with other high school students and an approved high school teacher. Sometimes those programs require students to give up their homeschool status. The programs below are directly through the college using college teachers in a class of college students (online). Students enroll directly through the college and have no interaction with local public k12.

Check local programs before exploring out-of-state programs for two primary reasons: (1) local programs may be free or significantly reduced tuition for high school students, and (2) transfer agreements may exist that allow your teen to seamlessly pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Information is accurate as of 01/01/2021, but please reach out to each college directly for the latest course lists, eligibility, deadlines, prices, etc.

Price per course = Entire course for 1 price. Price is fixed per class and number of college credits are not factored in. For example, a 2 credit course costs the same as a 4 credit course.

Price per credit = Typical college courses are usually more than 1 credit. To find the price, multiply the cost per credit times the actual number of credits of your course. For example, a college that charges $100 per credit will charge $300 for a 3 credit class.

EVERY college on this list is Regionally Accredited (the gold standard)
